Thump down he goes…

  Gabe was standing on his little chair when it buckled from underneath him and he fell. I heard a thump, but since he got up and wasn't crying I figured he was okay.  An hour later he starts to whine and keeps pointing at his arm. I  notice he isn't using his left hand. He doesn't reach out to get things like his blankie or binky and he keeps holding it with his other hand as if to support it. So we head out to the Naval Hospital where they proceed to take six x-rays. My baby has a  small fracture close to his wrist. Now he has a  small splint on his arm for support. He was such a good little boy in the ER and cooperated fully with the staff.

Alas....this same little boy  left little gifts for me on the living room floor today. Here's what happened:

{Gabe}:  "Mama...mama"

 {me}: " Yes, Gabriel."

{Gabe}: " Um on.....Um on "{as he's motioning for me to follow him}

 He runs ahead of me and I hear.

"Oooooh...poo poo mommy."

Sure enough...he partially removed his pamper and the contents fell out. Ahh the joys of motherhood.

At least it was solid and he made me aware of the situation. Imagine walking barefoot in the house and suprise poopy-in-between your toes!!!  UUGH...

Our homeschool group had their Easter party today. We  arrived late, but just in time for the food. There was a big spread with lots of sweet goodies. The kids made some crafts and participated in some activities at the gym.
